May Surrey ARC ‘Communicator’ Newsletter

Here is the link to the May 2017 Surrey ARC ‘Communicator’ newsletter. As always, it’s in .PDF format and contains many ‘hot links’ to additional information on the Internet if you read it on your screen.

If you choose to print it, set your PDF reader print dialog box to ‘Fit page to margins’ so that it fits a letter size sheet, or you may lose the margins.

Click on this link: SARC-1705 to read or download the newsletter or copy this link in your browser: http://goo.gl/5EMTXU .

We’d love your feedback to the email address below and we welcome contributions of articles, club news and events.

We hope to see you at our next General Meeting on May 10th at 7pm at the PEP Regional HQ. There will be an interesting presentation on home-built SDR, our Fox Hunt and Field Day.

New Repeater In Surrey

The Surrey Amateur Radio Club have installed, tested and their new 220 repeater is up and running.  The frequency is 223.960 (-1.6 MHz).  The repeater is tone enabled so make sure you set the tone in your radio to 110.9.  I’m sure they would like to hear from you so they can get an idea of the footprint of the system.  For future reference the repeater is also listed on our South Fraser Repeater Page.
