Repeater Day April 11

Many repeaters over the last several years have increasingly gone very quite.  In an attempt to to get people using these repeaters again Coastal Ham Radio is asking all amateurs to be active on April 11 between 11:00 and 15:00.  Details can be found on our site.


BCQP Less Then A Week Away


Hello BC amateur radio clubs,

First, I’d like to thank so many of you for spreading the word about BCQP 2015 to club members and helping to keep event profile high. I hope everyone who plans to get on the air remembers that the event is coming up very soon: 1600z Feb 7 to 0400z Feb 8. (8am to 8pm local time, Feb 7)

Burnaby Amateur Radio Swap Meet

The Burnaby Amateur Radio Swap Meet is just a little over three weeks away on Sunday Feburary 22.  If you haven’t already marked your calendars do so as this is always one of the priemier events in amateur radio in south western BC.
