The New Westminster Hyack International Parade is on Saturday, May 27.
Operators assigned to the assembly area and parade officials will start communications at 08:00 and those assigned to points along the parade route will start a little later. The event starts at 10:30 with the Vancouver Police Motorcycle Drill Team and the parade follows. We are usually all done by around 13:00. Continue reading

The ARRL says Scout participation for the October 2015 JOTA was reported down by 8 percent from 2014
In 2012, there were 18,566 Scouts and visitors but in 2013 participation was down by nearly 4700, and it slipped further in 2014.
OH9SCL active from artic circle
Santa Claus Artic Circle Team (SACT) will be active from Santa Claus Land (OH9SCL) during this December.
This year activity will be very special. OH9SCL has now been active for 30 years from Artic Circle!!
This Activity will be mostly on HF-bands on all modes.
